IEP Workshops
IEP Workshop for Parents, Caregivers, Teachers & other Professionals
Our goal is to empower parents before they get into the IEP process so they make good choices for their children, understand what they are entitled to under the law and do not become frustrated by the process. We co-sponsor with the ECAC two IEP Workshops each year in Chatham County. These are workshops are provided at no cost.
The workshops include:
- -An overview of the IEP – Individualized Education Program
-Your participation in the IEP process
-Writing measurable goals and objectives
-Tips for success
-And a chance to ask your questions
Look for these workshops in the Spring (around April) in Siler City and in the Fall (around September) in Pittsboro!
